About Alex Wade

Hey, I'm Alex Wade! Ten years ago, I made the move from Seattle to New York City with big dreams and a computer science degree I wasn't planning to use. What started as a friend forcing me to audition for a high school musical (because they didn't have enough boys) turned into a decade-long love affair with performing in the city that never sleeps.

I've honed my craft through training at some of NYC's most respected institutions: The Barrow Group with Seth Barrish, Stella Adler Studio of Acting, The Acting Studio with James Price and Rodney Ferrer, and improv classes at both The PIT and Magnet Theatre.

Over the past 10 years, I've worked across a variety of performance spaces—from intimate black box theaters to film sets to improv stages. When I'm not on stage or set, you might find me doing Harry Potter impersonations or building websites (turns out that computer science degree came in handy after all. In fact, I built this website myself!)
